Here are some helpful tips to wearing your male chastity cage.
Congratulations on being locked in chastity! If you’ve read my post on chastity for female led relationships, then you know this is 100% one of the best things for your marriage.
New wife led couples may be nervous when doing chastity for the first time. After all, it is a big shift big shift in your sex life!
So, I thought a post on tips to wearing your male chastity cage would be appropriate 🙂

1. Clean Your Chastity Cage regularly
No one likes a dirty partner, so keeping your cock clean is a big must.
Our cocks/balls can get sweaty pretty easily when locked up in a tight space. Plus, pee can sometimes get in the cage, which only contributes to the issue.
For some chastity cages, staying clean can be a little bit of a hassle. Some couples like to take the chastity cage off on a daily basis to clean everything.
Here’s what I do to stay clean:
The easiest way to clean out your cage (when still locked up) is to run the shower head over it. This will get the easy dirt/grime out from the cage.
To really keep clean, I highly recommend keeping q-tips handy. They will really be your best friend. Also, keep a spray bottle handy.
You can use a regular plastic water bottle and puncture a hole on the top.
Put some soap water into the empty plastic water bottle and use it in the shower to douse your cock/chastity cage.
Then, put some soap or shampoo on the q-tips and use it to clean the insides of your cage.
The best way to do this is to insert the q-tip into the pee hole. Swirl the q-tip around in circles. It shouldn’t be too hard to get in there unless you’re hard.
For beginners, an easier method might be just getting unlocked periodically for a proper cleaning.
Ladies, make sure he is supervised so he doesn’t get any unnecessary strokes or cheat!
2. The Art Of Peeing Properly
Okay, peeing can sometimes be a pain in the ass.
To pee, position your cock near the entrance of the pee hole and aim it down. Try to get your slit as close to the hole as possible. This may be a bit hard (no pun intended) when you’re flaccid.
For beginners, a good strategy is sitting on the toilet. Not only is it humiliating, but it’s also very practical.
Every time you finish peeing, take a piece of toilet paper and wipe the tip of the cock cage. It’ll help the pee from sliding back down.
Finally, I would highly recommend only using a stall at work or in public. You don’t want anyone peeking over at you in the urinals!
P.S. it’s best to try to get a chastity cage with a decent sized pee hole (like this one) to make things easier for you.
3. Wear Briefs Not Boxers
Do not wear boxers when locked in chastity. Always wear briefs.
Most chastity cages are designed to be locked by a small padlock. As a result, with every step you take, the lock will smack against the top of the cage.
This isn’t a big deal when you’re in the privacy of your own home. However, it can be a big deal at work or in public!
The simple solution is just to wear briefs. Briefs are obviously tighter than boxers so the fabric will wrap against the lock. That way when you walk no clacking wounds will be heard.
For couples that like sissy play, wearing panties is also a good alternative 🙂
P.S. check out this post for a guide on what underwear to wear in chastity.
4. Don’t Worry About “The Bulge”
One of the biggest fears of wearing a male chastity device is the “big bulge.”
For some reasons, us guys can become fixated on this so called bulge. But in reality, it’s not that big of a deal.
Most chastity cages are designed to be sleek and slim. Plus, when you wear briefs (as I mentioned before), your bulge will not be noticeable.
Further, let me be the first to tell you this: no one is looking that closely at your crotch…well unless you’re some celebrity and the paparazzi are all over you.
The bulge is really just an overblown fear. Wear briefs and some relatively loose pants and it won’t even be seen.
No one will ever suspect anything!
5. Don’t Use Too Tight Of A Ring
Most guys put on a really tight ring to make the chastity device more secure. That’s the right spirit!
However, what they don’t consider is over longer lock up periods, your balls will swell up naturally (from not cumming on a regular basis).
This can make the cage a lot less comfortable if you have a very small ring. So, don’t get a really small ring that feels like a vice grip.
What I would suggest is using a ring size where you can barely slip your pinky finger in (when the ring is on).
That’s the perfect size for security (you won’t be able to pull your balls out) and comfort.
Some chastity rings can cause chafing on the balls. It’s usually only an issue for longer lockups. If this happens, just keep some lotion around to help soothe your balls.
Many stores sell little travel sized bottles, so it makes carrying on your person very convenient.
6. Waking Up At Night
It is 100% normal to wake up unexpectedly during the middle of the night when locked up. This happens because most guys get nocturnal wood.
Some say the feeling is really uncomfortable, but I rather like it. Nevertheless, it can be a little disruptive for your sleeping habits.
After a while your body will get used to it. Don’t stress about it much.
7. Ease into long-term chastity lockups
A lot of couples love the idea of permanent male chastity or forced chastity. It’s all fun to fantasize and jerk off to.
However, you have to ease into the lockups. Getting locked up is a pretty big change in lifestyle. Peeing suddenly becomes a harder task.
Don’t go for a 1 month lockup right out the cage. Always ease up towards the longer lockups.
When I first started out, I only wore the cage overnight. Andy’s body really wasn’t used to being so constricted like that.
Final Thoughts
Wearing your male chastity cage is such a thrilling experience. However, it also comes with some challenges (like peeing or staying clean).
I hope these tips help out other FLR couples!
